My Little Helper

Our house is far from organized and it is driving me crazy. The playroom is nothing but a junk collecting room. STUFF just gets thrown in there and then never put up. Yes, we do have a TON of toys. The playroom was needed to keep all our toys in, but pretty much the toys are just thrown in there and the kids could barely even get in there to find a toy that they wanted. Then when they were done with the toys they just ended up being left on the floor. Well....I've actually been trying to organize the playroom. I'm hoping to have a specific place for EACH toy and that place WILL NOT be the floor. So, I purchased some inexpensive shelves at Wal-Mart the other day, hoping to find a home for some toys. I put 2 shelves together the other day and then yesterday I went and got 2 more shelves to stack on top of the 2 previous ones. I was putting them together today and Bryce decided he was going to help.

On a side note: When I got in the playroom the other day to start the cleaning/organizing, I decided that the room needed some rearranging. I was trying to make some more room. So, I moved the love seat that was in there, the train table, and the kid's art table. The only slight problem with this is the fact that I'm 9 months pregnant. Furniture moving isn't really on the approved list of things for pregnant women to do. I knew that when Karl came home that I would be in trouble, but I was willing to make the sacrafice. It seems like I have to rearrange furniture at least once each pregnancy. It is usually the living room that I rearrange, but for now I'm just sticking to the playroom!
