Falling Limbs...

If you stop by our house, you might want to watch out for falling limbs. Some limbs are small, while others are quite large.

Yesterday morning I went outside to find a small limb laying beside the camper. At first I was afraid that it had hit the camper, but I don't think that it did. Some of the small sticks might have, but not the main piece so that was good.

This morning I found a much larger limb at the bottom of our yard. I looked out the bathroom window when I got up and I couldn't see the bottom of our yard. So...I took the dog outside and surveyed the damage. The kids' plastic slide/playhouse had survived, but the fence has seen better days. I think that we can fix just the one section of the fence though and it will be okay. Thankfully the kids weren't down there playing when it decided to fall though!

Thankfully the smaller limb is the one that fell by the camper, because if the big limb (from the bottom of the yard) had hit the camper we would have been in some serious trouble.
Funny Story: I called Karl early this morning to ask him if it was down when he went to work. He didn't know, because he said it was too dark to see down there when he left for work. It was kind of funny though, because everyone at his work was worried whenever he was getting a call from me before 6:30 a.m. It never crossed my mind that I'm due to have a baby here real soon and that I might have been in labor (which is what some of the people that he works with thought). Sorry for the false alarm people. No labor pains here yet!
