Well....she was WAY overdue for a haircut. She is 2 years old and this was her first haircut. Her appointment was at 12:30 at PetSmart. We got there a little early, but we just went ahead and left her. We estimated that it would take about an hour. We had a couple of other errands that we were going to run and then we were going to eat lunch. When we got done with lunch we went back to PetSmart to pick her up (they were supposed to call when they were finished, but we figured they had forgotten).
When we got there they said that it was taking a little longer, because she wasn't real excited! We didn't think much about it and we figured she would be done soon. We just looked around the store for a while and kept looking in the viewing window to see if we could see her. Then...we spotted her or so we thought. We looked and we weren't even sure it was our dog, because she looked so different. Then the kids went over to the window and we knew for sure it was her, because Cassie started going crazy. We had to leave the window, because she was getting too excited since she could see us.
A few minutes later, after we had purchased Cassie 2 new toys and the cat a toy, we went over to watch her (we figured she HAD to be about done). Well...she finally got finished about 2 hours after her original appointment time. Apparently she didn't like the clippers, especially around her face/ears, so it took a little longer then normal. She looked good, but SO different. The hair on her back was a little shorter then we would have liked, but it will grow out soon enough. Her face looks so cute though and we can actually see her eyes again.
