The kids both had dentist appointments today.
Faith: She got up asking when she could go to the dentist. Karl and I had told her a couple of days earlier that she had an appointment, but then we just kind of dropped it (because we didn't want her to get nervous about going). So...we got to her appointment (that was not until the afternoon). She went back and got her teethed all cleaned and she had NO CAVITIES!!
Bryce: We had told him he got to go to his first dentist appointment and he was exicted, because he likes to do anything his big sister does. He was all excited to go, until we got there. They tried to get him to go back in the back when Faith went, but he decided he would wait. So...after Faith was done they came and got Bryce and I. He walked back to the room fine, but wouldn't go back into the room with the chairs. I had to carry him over to the chair. He thought about throwing a fit, but then decided it wasn't worth it. He eventually sat down in the chair, since I was holding him. We sat there a mintue and talked about his birthday that is tomorrow and he got a Happy Birthday sticker. He eventually opened up his mouth so that they dentist could see his teeth. The dentist said there were no apparent cavities and that everything looked fine.
We got our papers and checked out and the kids picked there toys out of the teasure chest. They get 2 toys from the treasure chest, a pencil, a bouncy ball, and 4 baseball cards. It has always been this way, because this is the same dentist that my brother and I went to. Some things just never change I guess.
