When signups were happening Faith wasn't real sure that she wanted to go. I had originally told her she might be with kids that she didn't know---of course that was all that she needed to say that she wasn't going. Well, her Brownie leader made arrangements and it all worked out that her Daisy troop (they are Brownies now) from last year was going to be all together with the leader that they knew. So, she decided that she wanted to go. On Monday she wanted me to stay with her, just because that is how she is. Faith is not a child that just likes to venture out on her own with new things (plus I like to see what all she is doing too, so it really isn't a problem for us!). Day Camp was Monday-Thursday from 8:30-3:30, except Thursday was just a field trip day so the time wasn't as long (9:00-12:00). Monday Bryce got to go spend the day at Mamaw and Papaw's house. Of course, he played outside all day. Papaw took him to the dump with him, took him to City Lake to ride his bike, and then they played outside at their house. I think he ate lunch inside and stayed inside for an hour after lunch, other than that he was outside!
Thankfully the weather this week wasn't too hot for an outside camp. The girls were mainly in the shade the whole time and there was a slight breeze, so it was nice. This week she made crafts, learned new songs, went on troll hunts, went on hikes, played games, earned badges, and many more acitivties I'm sure!
She had a lot of fun and she is glad that she decided to go. She said that she definetly wants to go again next summer.
