Sick Again...

Our Family is sick again... Faith started not feeling well on Saturday. She started complaining of a sore throat, but that was about it. Sunday she didn't feel good off and on. By Sunday night she wasn't feeling good at all and then Bryce started not feeling good. Right at bedtime Faith vomited once and then was fine. Monday morning both kids got up and went to school. I figured I'd get a call to come get Faith, but it was Bryce's preschool instead. He said his belly hurt and he got sick a tiny bit a school (not much of anything because he hadn't had anything to eat in about 18 hours). He came home and didn't feel good at all. It was time to get Faith from school and he was feeling worse. He vomited while we were getting Faith from school (yes, I had taken a bowl with us in the van). Bryce stayed home from school on Tuesday and Wednesday and Faith went both days. Wednesday morning I woke up with my throat on fire (I've never felt my throat hurt that bad). The good thing was that it only hurt for a few minutes. It hurt off and on the rest of the day, but nothing too bad. By yesterday afternoon I had a horrible headache and my body just ached. Slowly we have all developed coughs along the way too. This morning at 1:30 Cole woke me up. He wasn't really awake, but he was breathing so heavy (it was very labored). I immediatly got up with him to take his temperature (103.4). I gave him some Motrin and sat with him in the rocking chair. He was sleeping, but I wasn't. I had to make sure his breathing became better, which it did thankfully. Faith got up complaining about her stomach hurting and her knee/legs. She earned herself a day at home. She has just been laying on the couch all day. She has napped a couple of times. Right now she says she feels better and she is coloring. I'm feeling better today. Just coughing and having another headache. Here's hoping Karl doesn't get this and the rest of us are over it soon. Bryce feels pretty much back to normal today, so that is good news.

I hope everybody gets to feeling better. What a special family the Wittmans are. You are wonderful people, great parents, awesome kids, and great members of New Life Church. We love and appreciate you so much.
