Faith has Scarlett Fever

For a week and a half now Faith has been sick. One day she would be fine and then the next day sick. In the very beginning she complained about a sore throat, but she has said for a week now that her throat doesn't hurt. She has run a fever off and on the whole time, but it hasn't been high for a week. She woke me up at 5:15 this morning saying that she was hot and itchy. I pulled her big covers off of her. I felt her, but she didn't have a fever. She went back to sleep and then I woke her up for school at 6:45 like normal. She got up fine and was sitting on the couch and just starts telling me how much she was itching. I lifted up her shirt and couldn't believe the rash she had all over her. Immediately I knew she was going to the doctor. Her entire torso and neck were just covered in a bright red rash. The rash wasn't bumpy at all, it was just her skin was splotchy and red.

We got into the doctor and he immediatly knew what it was. So, he called us in some amoxicillian and told me to give her benadryl for the itching. Her throat was a little red, but nothing major. So, if we can get the itching under control I think we will be good.
