We went on a short hike. Along the way we saw lots of trees and we even found a rope vine. Faith wasn't sure about swining on a vine, until everyone else tried it. The kids thought it was fun!
There was also time for lots of fishing. Catching fish at Patoka in the Fall is a sure bet, as long as the water isn't too high. We have found a rock cliff that the fish love to stay along side. So, you drop your fishing line in the water with a minnow on it and in no time you will have a fish. The fish range in size to tiny to about 12 inches being the biggest we have caught. Faith and Bryce were so proud of their big catches.
