A Week of Camping

We decided to head out to Scale's Lake for some camping. We have never camped here before, mainly because it is just so close to home. Karl still had to work this week, but since we were so close to home then it was fine. We had made reservations from Tuesday-Saturday, because the weather was supposed to be really nice. Guess what--the weather changed and it was HOT and rained some. The rain didn't bother us much and the heat wasn't that bad either, since we have air conditioning in the camper.

We got there and got busy setting everything up. We let the kids go down to the playground while we getting everything situated. We don't usually let them go anywhere by themselves, but we did this time. We could see them at the playground from our campsite and there was pretty much no one else around, so we did let them do it this time. We then had time for a quick bike ride to the petting zoo. The kids love to feed the animals. After the petting zoo it was time to get ready for bed.
