Water...

You never miss water, until it is gone... We got up this morning and it was just an ordinary Monday morning. About 6:30 my Dad calls and ask if we have water. Well...I'm assuming so, since the dishwasher is going. I check and yes we do. Dad had a doctors appointment, so he needed a shower. He came over to hop in the shower at about 7:00. About 7:15 the news announces that all the schools in town are closed (we have 2 elementary schools, a junior high, and a high school). That's nice....especially since I have already woke my kids up, fed them breakfast, and they are dressed. Okay, no big deal, they can help me clean today (yeah right!), since that was what was on my agenda for today. Well, by about 8:00 our water is now GONE too... Not even a drop will come out of our facets. Here's hoping that they get that water main break fixed sooner then later. Apparently it is a major break, so I'm guessing I won't be doing my laundry today...

UPDATE: It is now 2:00. We have had water periodically today, but it is lovely water. Come on over to our house and I'll give you a nice cold glass of delicious BROWN iced water. I don't think I'll be using my water for a while yet!!
