Are we there yet?

We went to St. Louis this weekend for our winter get out of the house weekend. Winter can drag on and on, so every February we try to go away for the weekend. We find a hotel with an indoor pool so the kids and swim. Then we shop a little and just have a nice weekend.

We didn't get into St. Louis until late Friday night. We weren't going to go over until Saturday morning, but we could stay the third night for free at our hotel, so we figured we might as well head over on Friday. It was way past dark when we got there, which meant the kids were getting a little crazy in the car (Faith and Bryce both travel very well, but they travel much better when it is light outside vs. being dark---we are not one of those families that likes to drive through the night so the kids just sleep through it, because the kids don't sleep!). We got to the hotel and got settled and then went to bed not too long after getting there.

Saturday morning we got up and headed to the arch. It was rather cold walking from our car to the arch, but we made it. We of course had to go up in the arch, because the kids just love that.
