Baby Check-Up

I get to go to the doctor every 2 weeks now, so I guess that there will be more baby news on this page. Of course, there really isn't ever that much to report. Yes, I gained 1 lb. (nothing much to write home about). The baby's heartbeat was 157. It still sounds great, so that is good. I did have to have my gestational diabetes test today, so that meant drinking this lovely orange drink. It's not that it tastes that bad, but it makes me so full so fast. You have to drink this bottle (it has a little carbonation--not much, some orange flavoring--like an orange soft drink, but it is THICK). So...you have to drink this within 5 minutes. Then you have to have your blood tested an hour later. Yes, I had to drink this stuff and then ride in the car for 30 minutes+. Not a good combination. I was a little late (of course, since you cannot be late getting your blood test for this diabetes screening). However, I wasn't late enough that it really mattered. Oh well, it's over and done and everything is good.
